Adventure at Starbase Six: While the USS Eagle prepares for underway, the Captain and junior officers go out for a little R&R that turns out to be anything but rest for the Captain.

Room Service, Continued: The USS Eagle hosts a doomed diplomatic mission and reception to keep the Galadons and the Tureth from going to war. Such a war would destabilize the quadrant and be likely to spill out across the Galaxy and split up the Federations as many Federation worlds have an alliance with one side or the other.

The Lady Alara: The USS Eagle visits Galadon Twelve, the capital planet for the Galadonese Empire to return diplomats from failed negotiations and end up stopping a high level assassination and plot to blame the Federation. The Captain and Lady Alara meet and through the tragedy that unfolds, save each others lives. They undergo an ancient ritual which gives nasty side effects to both parties. Thus the Captain begins his mutation into a Galadon and falls under the spell of the Ankhanahkstoi.

An Unexpected Detour: On the way back to Tureth to return the Turethian diplomatic delegation, the USS Eagle takes and unexpected detour to rescue a passenger cruise liner, The Rigellian Star Adventurer. Little do they know that heavily armed Orion pirates lie in wait for the small science vessel to bring the liner assistance.

Trick or Treatment?: The Captain's mutations worsen. A doctor, expert in genetic disorders, formulates and administers a new treatment to stop the mutations. Little does the Captain or anyone know that the mutations were not all that the doctor wanted to stop. Is this Trick or Treatment?

Reunions: The Away Team, Captain and Lady Alara are reunited but they meet this time not at a diplomatic suare but at the underground prison of the militant race of lizard warriors called the Sandokhans. They must figure out how to escape the prison against overwhelming odds.

The Lady in Blue: The Lady Alara and the Captain accidentally under go another round of the ancient ritual called the Ankhanahkstoi. It will leave them both worse off than before but cure a dying Sandokhan child. Is the Lady Alara the answer to the Prophecy of Tarrook?

The Call to Mourn: The Captain, Empress and others escape the prison and hide in the burial place for the lizard race. They almost have gotten away when the Sandokhans begin an emotionally overpowering ritual named the "Call to Mourn". This ritual compels everyone within a certain radius to join mourners in a funeral procession.

Countdown to Armageddon: The USS Eagle tries in vain to avoid intergalactic war as the "Countdown to Armageddon" begins. The Galadons and Tureth send their warships to meet in the Sirius South system for the final show down. Their hostilities threaten to tear the Federation apart and plunge the galaxy into intergalactic war but as you will see there is something much worse in store for the Galaxy if the USS Eagle can't get the Galadons and the Tureth to work together.
