Assigned to search Commander Cline's quarters and records for clues as to
his recent disappearance
In searching the Commander's quarters, I found the remnants of a hand written
note. A ... unique cologne has partially obliterated the message, what remains
reads as follows:
2000, don't be late. Crews mess wit[]
From this note and the general state of the shower area and room, it seems
the XO was in a rush to meet someone before his disappearance, possibly a
date. His computer terminal seems to have been tampered with; there is a
substantial gap in the communications records leading up to his disappearance.
In going over the Commander's records I found that there's no shortage of
people that would have a grudge against him. It is possible the Orions acted
as a middle man to kidnap the Commander.
My investigation was cut short by the red alert. I intend to follow up the
computer discrepancy with Ensign Hanson as well as interview a few people.
