'A large mammal of some sort
attacked Commander Cline. He was beamed to sickbay and is expected to make
a full recovery. The remainder of the Away Team found evidence of wanton
destruction by a large animal and a firefight. They also found one Federation
Observation Team member and three native alien children hiding in a closet
and have beamed them on board and taken to Sickbay. The FOT member was badly
injured and unconscious. He is not expected to live. From the state of the
base it is not anticipated that there are many, if any more, survivors. Kematsopoulos
out.'

SUPPLEMENTAL
'Preliminary result of the Away Team's tricorder readings and energy profile
analysis have been interpreted with the ship's computer. The results are
disturbing and show evidence of technology not thought to be of this world's
current state. This and what little information comes from native alien children
lead us to believe that there is a more advanced race visiting this planet
along with us.
I am heading to sickbay to visit Jim and get a better story.'
